Lydia Hamann und Kaj Osteroth sind Künstlerinnen und leben und arbeiten in Berlin und Brandenburg. Lydia Hamann und Kaj Osteroth haben seit 2007 ein dialogisches Malen entwickelt, das für sie gleichzeitig künstlerische Praxis und radikale Geste ist und welches eine dezidierte Auseinandersetzung mit der Malerei und ihrer Rolle als Künstlerinnen einfordert. So handeln sie Spielräume kollektiver Produktion aus, thematisieren Freund*innenschaft und produzieren queer-feministisches Wissen und Widerstände.

Lydia Hamann and Kaj Osteroth are artists living in Berlin and Brandenburg. Since 2007 Lydia Hamann & Kaj Osteroth work on how to paint collectively - while also extending the understanding of the medium of painting into the realm of performance and care. Painting together became a tool to negotiate and engage with the themes of joint production, friendship, strategies of queer-feminist knowledge and refusal.
